Engagement
We work closely with our clients to gain a firm understanding of the main objectives of the role and the company. From these objectives, an experience and competency profile will be constructed. We add value to this thinking through our knowledge of current market trends.
Research
We always thoroughly research the market to ensure no stone is left unturned. Our researchers will identify a long list of candidates from suitable backgrounds. This is done discreetly, through networking with our extensive contacts base and mapping targeted organizations and projects.
Approach
From our research, we will identify a suitable list of candidates and make discreet and professional approaches. This will be done by the Practice Head leading the search, an area in which Hunter Pierce personnel are vastly experienced.
Assessment
Wherever possible, we will meet face to face with candidates to conduct a thorough background investigation and competency based interview. We rigorously assess suitability using a range of assessment tools specific to the instruction. From these meetings and assessments we compile a profile which is collated into a report for client review.
Due Diligence
Shortlisted candidates are thoroughly referenced and certifications are verified prior to submission. Passive and impassive references are taken and, where appropriate, these are included in the report submitted to the client. Dependant on the requirement of the role, further checks can be made including directorship checks, CCJ's ,etc.
Process Management
While organizing interviews and conducting debriefs, candidates are kept engaged throughout the process . In nearly every senior appointment, there are details that will need to be negotiated and agreed. Hunter Pierce can manage this process, keeping potentially divisive issues at arm's length from the key principles and supporting both parties to contract signature.
Post Placement
Once an executive has signed a contract to join a new organization, there is often a danger that he or she will consider other opportunities. We will maintain regular contact with the successful candidate, sharing information and generally keeping them focused and committed to the new opportunity until they start the new role.
